ENTRY CAMPAIGN 2020: RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
2020 entry campaign, which has several distinguishing features this year, is in full swing. The distinguishing feature of this campaign is that the range of directions offered by universities and professional schools has been significantly increased. This is brightly reflected by innovative vector of development of the country, processes of modernization and diversification in educational system as investments to intellectual human capital are the investments to steadfast development of the state and society.
Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management is a leader by number of new directions, which is provided by the increased process of digital transformation. New specialities include banking business and monetary circulation; financial markets and financial security in digital economy; digital technologies in trade and logistics, informational systems and technologies in economics and management; software of computer systems. Turkmen State Financial Institute will start education of bachelors in the sphere of international finances.
Magtumguly Turkmen State University will resume education of specialists in Russian language and literature.
the main trends of development of national agricultural complex and special attention paid in the country to environment protection and rational nature management reflect new directions of bachelor education in Turkmen Agricultural University where starting from this year, perspective professions in the spheres of hothouse farming, industrial fishery, agricultural ecology as well as canine studies.
D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages will start teaching Italian language. The programme of baccalaureate in Russian and English philology will include translation study. Aspirants for Master degree, who speaks English fluently, will be able to start studying of methods of teaching of foreign languages.
Oguzkhan Engineering and Technology University will have baccalaureate programme in microbiology sphere, technological entrepreneurship, philology ((technical English and Japanese languages).
the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications offers four new directions, three of which are aimed at training of professionals for transport and logistic sphere – acting personnel of railroads; operation of loading and offloading equipment of ports and bus stations; ground transport and technological equipment. Another new speciality landscape design is very current in the context of large-scale urban construction programme expanded in the country, necessity of harmonization of established architectural environment and green decoration, creation of comfortable living environment.
Range of professional training of universities located in the regions of the country has also been increased. Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogic Institute (Turkmenabat) has an opportunity to give high education in Persian and German languages as well as in physical training. The State Energy Institute (Mary) will start bachelor education in management, informational security, informational communication technologies and communication system, power energy and electric equipment spheres. Turkmen Agricultural University will provide bachelor degree in automation and control, informational systems and technologies.
Turkmen State Institute of Culture will start training of bachelors in art management sphere as well as in camera operation and television editing. 32 new specialities have been introduced in total in universities of the country.
The process of educational modernization have also covered secondary professional schools of the country. For example, aviation personnel training school of Türkmenhowaýollary Agency will train specialists in the sphere of management and logistic. Turkmenabat River Line Professional School of Türkmendeňizderýaýollary will provide education in informational security and power supply.
Balkanabat Oil Secondary Professional School of the State Concern Türkmennebit and Mary Oil and Gas Professional School of the State Concern Türkmengaz will teach in the sphere of latest informational systems and digital technologies.
The State Cultural and Art School will provide education in makeup artist while the State Special School under the Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan will start training of scene decorators and masters of art carving. In general, 14 new directions of education are launched in 7 professional schools.
Education of competent specialists, creatively thinking professionals who wish to grow and develop themselves, stimulation of their research talent are the vectors of qualitative growth of national economy.
