PRIME MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN PARTICIPATED TO THE FIRST CASPIAN ECONOMIC FORUM
On 11 August 2019, a high-level delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov arrived to Turkmenbashi city.
On the 12th of August, the high-level guest participated to the International Conference “Caspian Sea: Benefits of developing the international economic cooperation” in the framework of the grand opening of the Forum.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov was received by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. During the bilateral talks, the parties discussed the current issues of Turkmen-Azerbaijan cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the significance of the First Caspian Economic Forum which is intended to be an effective platform for the development of mutually beneficial ties not only between the Caspian littoral states, but also between the governmental and private sectors of other countries.
The high-level guest also participated to the festive events, dedicated to the First Caspian Economic Forum.
