THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN MAKES HORSE RIDE AND STARTS WRITING A BOOK
Having made it a rule to spend his free time doing sports including horse riding as well as doing creative work, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Ahalteke equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan. The Head of the State has checked up on ‘heaven’ horses, made a ride and started to write new book.
The beauty of nature inspires in any season and spring landscapes made special impression. This is the best frame for communication with horses, which embodied the power and strength of nature, its talent of an artist and sculptor who made such wonderful creature as an ahalteke horse. In their turn, people helped to make this masterpiece a perfection. For the centuries, Turkmens accumulated rich, unique and invaluable experience of national selection in the formation of this legendary breed.
Today, in addition to primordial traditions of development and training of horses, Turkmen horse breeders have achievements of the world science, the most modern equipment and technologies, advanced and developed infrastructure of the branch. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is a big supporter of bringing of national equestrian industry to new heights who make huge contribution to popularization of ahalteke horses around the world and attraction of attention of international community to their historical homeland and our national heritage in this sphere.
It is known with what love Turkmen leader treats horses dedicating his rare free time to them and glorifying ahalteke horses in his literary art.
…Having checked up on horses, the Head of the State took out Gyratym horse from the stable and had a walk with it. After, short warm-up, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov let the stallion to trot.
It is naturally that this is the horse that has become the main symbol of our country, living embodiment of unbreakable tie of times and generations. The horse is a loyal companion and friend for Turkmen people, reliable assistant and sample of harmony. Therefore, it is no wonder that there are so many legends, wise sayings, fairy tales and proverbs. Art inspiration of the nation has given wonderful features to the horse and sometime, the horse serves a n expressive metaphor associating with dream, luck, with all light and good.
Undoubtedly, all of these was reflected in national art from the old times to our days. Natural beauty of horses, their speed, loyalty, racing features served as a source of inspiration for poets throughout many ages.
In his books, the Head of the State reveals huge importance of study of national history, protection of national traditions, values of spiritual and tangible culture of Turkmen nation. This thought sounds in many works of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and every time with new power demonstrating another side of the richest heritage bequeathed to us by ancestors.
In his study room in the equestrian complex, the Head of the State has started to write new book, which would sum up deep thoughts of historical experience of Turkmen people in different spheres and perspective of further development of our state and society.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pays special attention to the succession of national heritage by youth as our heritage is not only the monuments, folklore, customs but also spiritual experience of the nation, its social and historical memory, addressing to which would allow mainstreaming everlasting verities, advises of ancestors, their moral targets and guidance to future generations in modern public mind.

The Head of the State pays special attention to development of national culture. The conditions made by the government have supported to appearance of various forms of cultural cooperation with all nations of the world, wide popularization of rich heritage of the nation.
The President of the country raises important subjects of formation of ideological base of the state according to the character and scale of fundamental changes among the representatives of cultural personnel.
Basically, this is about improvement and accumulating of such human resource, on which not only cultural sphere but also society and economy of Turkmenistan as a modern democratic country committed to spiritual values, respect of freedoms and rights of individual and targeted to international integration and universal progress will be based.
In this aspect, education of youth, including based on verified practice of national pedagogics, receives special significance. This subject will also be highlighted in new work, where important role is given to ethic principles of national world outlook, family traditions, attitude to nature, customs of Turkmen, which were carried through generations.
Fundamental features of Turkmen mentality started to form up in ancient times when numerous traditions and rites, which make up the treasury of people’s wisdom that is passed down from generation to generation, have been originated. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov outlines such main moments as natural and genetic relation with home land and team spirit in this continues process.
