WORKING VIDEO CONFERENCE SESSION: SEASONAL AGRICULTURAL CAMPAIGNS, ACTIVITIES ON OCCASION OF NATIONAL TURKMEN HORSE HOLIDAY
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with participation of hyakims of Ashgabat and velayats.
Priority issues of realization of major reformation programme, fulfilment of seasonal agricultural works as well as preparation to coming celebration events have been reviewed at the session.
First, the head of the State called Hyakim of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov who reported on the situation in the capital, measures for its further development and modernization of urban infrastructure.
It was reported about the construction of various facilities, which opening is planned at the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality, events timed to National Turkmen Horse Holiday as well as preparation to summer season.
The Hyakim reported to the Head of the State that it is planned to organized mass sport cycling and running competitions under slogan “2020 – Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality: Following principles of healthy life style with ‘heaven’ horse” on the day before National Turkmen Horse Holiday.
Having noted that work in Ashgabat has to have an integrated character and support its turning into modern mega city, the President pointed out the necessity to pay special attention to improvement of social and living conditions of the population.
Improvement of quality of services rendered to passengers on public transport, support of clean condition of the capital are important activities of the city administration. It is also necessary to hold steadfast development and greening of the city under control.
The President of Turkmenistan has focused on quality and adherence to the schedule of construction of new facilities where active involvement of advanced technologies, compliance of facilities with their operation purpose, aesthetic and ecological characteristics are the main criteria.
Having highlighted the subject of preparation to National Turkmen Horse Holiday, President Gurbanguly Beerdimuhamedov directed to organize all planned activities on high level as well as ordered to activate work for preparation to coming summer season.
Video conference session was continued with the report of Hyakim of Ahal Velayat Ya. Gurbanov who reported on current agricultural works in the region, including rates of the cotton sowing, care of winter crops, measures for high production of potato, fruit vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops.
At the same time, it was reported about situation at the construction sites of the region and programme of events on occasion of National Turkmen Horse Holiday. In this regard, the Hyakim has informed about mass sport competitions planned to be held in the region.
Having listened to the report and focused on the subject of the cotton cultivation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the necessity of acceleration of rates of sowing campaign and pointed out the necessity of creation of conditions for highly productive work of farmers.
The Head of the State gave specific assignments to the Hyakim on production of winter crops, comprehensive material and technical preparation to coming crops harvest.
Speaking of the utmost objectives of development of agricultural sector, Turkmen leader highlighted that it is necessary to introduce achievement of profile science and modern technologies to practice. It will support increment of volumes of various agricultural production.
Having noted that improvement of social and living infrastructure in the region has to be under permanent control, the Head of the State requested to provide control of implementation of National rural programme and works at construction sites.
The President has also addressed the Hyakim with assignments on deserved organization of events dedicated to Turkmen horses.
Further, Hyakim of Balkan Velayat T. Atahalliyev reported on the situation in the western region of the country. It was reported on the course of the cotton sowing, seasonala agricultural activities at the fields under wheat, construction of various facilities and preparation to National Turkmen Horse Holiday, which is observed annually on the last Sunday of April.
In this regard, the Hyakim informed that it is planned to organize mass sport events in the region on the day of national holiday.
Summing up the report, the Head of the state highlighted the necessity of quality fulfilment of spring field works as peer set timeline, efficient use of equipment and other resources, strict compliance with set agricultural standards as well as gave specific instructions on production of potato and other agricultural crops in the region.
Having focused on priority aspects of fulfilment of National rural programme, modernization of social and economic infrastructure of the region, the Head of the State ordered to provide timely completion of works at the facilities under construction.
The Head of regional administration has been also assigned to conduct planned celebration events on high organizational level.
In his turn, Hyakim of Dashoguz Velayat N. Nazarmyradov reported on works expanded in the region, including works at the fields where the cotton sowing and care of winter crops are continued and measures for sowing of rice are taken. The report on situation at construction sites as well as on the programme of events on occasion of National Turkmen Horse Holiday has been presented.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that high production of cotton, wheat and other agricultural crops directly depends on correct organization of all steps of field works based on integrated approach and taking into account local soil and climate conditions. At the same time, rich farming experience of our people and modern agro industrial technologies have to be used efficiently.
Having ordered to take proper measures for coordinated activity of profile structures and acceleration of rates of the cotton sowing, the President pointed out that it is necessary to provide readiness of specialized equipment and machines, reception facilities to the harvest campaign on time.
Speaking of importance of compliance with timeline and quality of construction of social and other facilities, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the hyakim with number of instructions.
In addition, the Head of the regional administration received directions of preparation to cultural public events timed to coming holiday.
Further, Hyakim of Lebap Velayat Sh. Amangeldiyev reported on the situation in the region, measures for increment of production of agricultural complex, including organized and timely completion of the cotton sowing, cultivation of wheat, rice, potato and other vegetable crops.
At the same time, it was reported on construction of various facilities as well as on preparation to National Turkmen Horse Holiday. The Hyakim has also informed on planning to have cycling race and marathon running competition on this day.
Having highlighted the utmost objectives of development of the velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed out the necessity to hold the course and rates of seasonal agricultural campaigns under control and to solve all issues related to this in timely manner.
The Head of the State addressed the Hyakim with assignments to prepare to the wheat harvest campaign, control of implementation of National rural programme, organization of planned events on proper level, situation at the facilities planned to be opened in honour of remarkable dates.
Next, the President called Hyakim of Mary Velayat D. Annabersiyev who reported on the rates of the cotton sowing, care of winter crops, works in the fields allocated for potato and other agricultural crops.
The Head of regional administration has also reported on preparation to the wheat harvest campaign, construction of various facilities in the velayat, measures for proper conduction of events on occasion of National Turkmen Horse Holiday and organization of public sport activities.
Summing up the report, the President ordered to provide quality completion of fields work in compliance with agricultural technical standards, to arrange coordination of activity of production structures.
“First, it is necessary to hold the provision of the cotton growers with seeding materials in necessary volume under control, to involve agricultural equipment in full volume, - President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered - as well as to carry out comprehensive preparation to the wheat harvest”.
At the same time, the Head of the State requested to think over the measures for increment of volumes of production of various vegetable ad cucurbitaceous crops in the velayat.
With regard to National Turkmen Horse Holiday, it has to be celebrated on high level in the velayat, the same like in all regions of the country, the Head of the State highlighted.
