TURKMEN STUDENTS STUDYING IN UZBEKISTAN UNIVERSITIES PARTICIPATE IN DISTANT SPORT FESTIVAL
April 23. The Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan has organized futsal and volleyball competitions in distant format with participation of students of our country, India and Kyrgyzstan studying in Urgench Bracnh of Tashketn Medical Academy and Urgench Branch of Muhammad Al- Khorezmi University of Information Technologies.
Forestalling the start of sport festival, which was organized under celebration of the 25th anniversary of neutral status of Turkmenistan, the head of diplomatic mission of our country in Tashkent Yazguly Mammedov has focused attention of representatives of younger generation on priorities of policy in the sphere of health protection of the citizens as well as popularization of sports and active life style pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In his online speech, the Ambassador highlighted in details the subject of the 25th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan and role of neutral status as the main factor of efficiency of foreign strategy of the country aimed at multilateral international cooperation, provision of peace and sustainable development.
In the context of situation caused by coronavirus pandemic, Ambassador Ya. Mammedov urged students to follow personal hygiene, use personal protective equipment and sanitizers, to support physical activity.
Representatives of younger generation of Turkmenistan citizens expressed gratitude to the Head of the State for comprehensive support and opportunity to receive higher education of foreign universities.
