PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN CONGRATULATES POETESS AMANGOZEL SHAGULYEVA ON HER 80TH ANNIVERSARY
“Dear Hero of Turkmenistan Amangozel Shagulyeva! I sincerely congratulate you on your 80th anniversary! I wish you good health, family well-being and may your pen always be perceant!" says President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his congratulatory address.
“In the modern era, our national literature has drastically transformed. The heights and successes achieved by the country, the prosperous life of our people, first of all, have found their embodiment in imaginative literature. Turkmen readers have recognized that your work has a special place in literary school. Serving literature for many years, with your works you have won the trust of readers, respect and recognition of our people, who honor a word. To gain recognition as a poet who has found the way in the literary field is a high honor and an honorary degree for a person who knows the art of words.
“The love for the Fatherland is considered the highest love. The greatest discoveries, the best deeds are carried out in the name of the Motherland. And the most beautiful words are dedicated to the Fatherland and the people. Your poems, penetrated with the warmth of your heart, diligence and talent, sound like an ode to the Motherland. You polish every line, saturate it with your talent, and at the same time, you are able to immediately respond to the events of the era. The successes and accomplishments achieved by the country in all spheres of state life, the most important events of the epoch and a day, come into the view of your poesy. This is the character inherent in people who do not see their own fate separately from the fate of the Fatherland. Because the source of all success is patriotic love, commitment to the profession.
“We especially honor the people who have contributed to the development of our culture, art, literature. The Turkmen land at all times of its history was known for outstanding personalities who significantly contributed to the treasure of world literature. Our land is the homeland for great Dovletmammed Azadi, Magtymguly Fraghi, Nurmuhammed Andalib, Annagylych Myataji, Mammetveli Kemine, Gurbandurdy Zelili, Mollanepes, Seyitnazar Seydi, whose works have entered the golden treasury of world literature in the last centuries, and famous writers and poets like Berdy Kerbabaev, Beki Seitakov, Hydyr Deryaev, Aman Kekilov, Nurmyrat Sarykhanov, Ata Atajanov, Gurbandurdy Gurbansakhedov, Kerim Kurbannepesov, Berdynazar Hudaynazarov, Mammed Seyidov, Gurbannazar Ezizov. You have made a special personal contribution to the continuation of their literary journey. That is why for your services to the Fatherland you were awarded the high titles "People's Writer of Turkmenistan", "Hero of Turkmenistan", you were also awarded with the International Prize named after Magtymguly and other state awards.
“Thanks to many years of work, the books created by you - “Elbukjam”, “Men garagumly”, “Uzaklarda nazarym”, “Söýgi mukamy”, “Ak gülleriň - ak ýolum”, “Belentligiň asman-zemin arasy”, “Dünýgell "Göwün otyr aý içinde" were warmly received by the readers. Your works, regularly published in periodicals, have become a significant contribution to the substantial and innovative stylistic enrichment of the Turkmen poetry. Your new book "Gezdim şygryň dünýäsinde", published these days, when we celebrate your anniversary, has replenished this list, becoming a wonderful gift for readers.
“We attach great importance to the principle mentor-student, perfected by our ancestors over the centuries. You have also created a kind of school in this direction and carried out exemplary work. Due to your example and tireless mentoring, new generations of Turkmen poets have come to the literary field. Today, many young people of the country, who compose poetry and even famous poets, consider you their teacher. This is a great honor for a poet”, emphasizes the President of Turkmenistan in his congratulatory address.
The Turkmen leader noted that 80th anniversary for a creative master is considered a high level of maturity and perfection and, expressing confidence that the poetess will continue to delight readers with bright works, wished Amangozel Shagulyeva good health, longevity and family well-being.
