VITAPHARM COMPANY: TURKMENISTAN IS ONE OF OUR IMPORTANT PARTNERS

This year, the Gagauz company VitaPharm from the Republic of Moldova shipped a large consignment of its products to Turkmenistan for the third time. The company, which has chosen as its motto "In harmony with nature", produces medicines and food supplements from natural raw materials that have practically no side effects.

In an interview with the news portal Gagauzinfo.MD, an entrepreneur from Comrat, Sergei Kroytor, told the story of his company's success in cooperation with Turkmenistan. When in 2016 the Bashkan of Gagauzia Irina Vlah was going to visit our country, entrepreneurs were also offered to participate in this business trip. Although the management of the company was not sure that they would be able to arrange the supply of their products to Turkmenistan, they nevertheless decided to go and did not regret it.

In Ashgabat, a Gagauz entrepreneur got acquainted with future partners and on the same evening, at the presentation of his drugs, he felt interest in the company. Everything started, and after the registration of the drugs, VitaPharm shipped the first batch of its products to Turkmenistan in 2017. The second batch left in 2018, and the third batch was shipped in the spring of 2021. According to the head of the pharmaceutical company VitaPharm Sergei Kroytor, "it was difficult to start, but now Turkmenistan is one of our important partners."

The successful experience of cooperation with the VitaPharm company is one of the examples of the friendly relations of Turkmenistan with the autonomous territorial entity of Gagauzia of the Republic of Moldova developing in recent years. In May 2017, during the official visit of the Government delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov to the Republic of Moldova in the village of Chishmikioi, Vulcanesti district of Gagauzia, a solemn ceremony of opening the Dostluk kindergarten, built by the Turkmen side and transferred to as a gift to the people of Gagauzia by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In turn, the delegation of Gagauzia, headed by the Chairman of the ATO People's Assembly D. Konstantinov, visited Ashgabat to participate in the events dedicated to the Day of the Turkmen Horse. In the spring of this year, Bashkan ATU Gagauzia Irina Vlah held a videoconference meeting with Toili Atayev, appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine. The parties discussed the possibility of implementing joint infrastructure projects in the territory of the autonomy. “The Gagauz and Turkmen peoples are close in language and culture. We have rich experience in cooperation on humanitarian issues. We are interested in using all this potential - intensifying our contacts, establishing long-term economic ties and attracting investments in the economy, taking into account the developing industrial sites of Gagauzia, ”said Irina Vlah during the conversation.
