READY FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR
Preparations for the new academic year in the Dashoguz velayat have been successfully completed. The northern region of the country, thanks to the successful implementation of various state programs aimed at the further development of the education sector and its technical re-equipment, has an extensive network of general educational institutions. So, today there are 529 general education institutions. A considerable part of them are modern new buildings erected in recent years.
It is expected that this academic year in the Dashoguz velayat for the first time about thirty-six thousand young residents will sit down at their desks.
Sufficient equipment of both urban and rural educational institutions with the most modern educational equipment, including interactive whiteboards and language laboratories, the availability of highly qualified teaching staff, made it possible to actively develop and improve the process of teaching foreign languages in the region. Today there are 28 specialized schools for in-depth study of foreign languages. The list of languages studied in them by schoolchildren is also quite extensive. These include English, German, French Arabic, Persian, Chinese and other languages. What is especially important is that such specialized educational institutions are successfully functioning not only in the administrative center of the velayat, but also on the territory of etraps.
In the new academic year, local schools will continue to work on further improving the educational process, including more active use of digital technologies in the learning process.
