"TÜRKMENISTAN SPORT" FINDS ITS READERS

The next issue of the magazine "Türkmenistan sport" has been published. Like the previous issues, it fully meets its originally declared content and semantic load as a literary, artistic and popular science publication.

The fresh issue opens with the editorial “Milli lider” (Leader of the Nation), revealing the essence of the reforms initiated and carried out in the physical culture and sports sphere by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Today, without false modesty, we can say that the magazine itself, also created on the initiative of the President of the country, has been published for a very short time, has found its regular reader. The next issue, as always, was eagerly awaited by its subscribers, a large army of sports fans, as well as the athletes and athletes themselves.

The current expectation of the publication of "their" magazine by sports fans was understandable and justified. The long-awaited Olympic Games have just ended in Tokyo. A small delegation of Turkmen athletes participating in the competition, but with a fighting spirit, performed there more than successfully. The readers were eager to find out the details, to get acquainted with the opinions of the athletes themselves about the competitions.

At home, the success of our athletes at the Olympics was deservedly and highly appreciated. And therefore it is absolutely fair that on one of the first pages of the magazine there was published an extensive material by the specialist of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, Rakhat Samatov, entitled “The Silver Medal of the Olympics”. The subtitle of the article "Weightlifter Polina Guryeva won the first silver medal for Turkmenistan" introduces the reader to its fascinating content.

The photograph of a happy Polina with a silver medal in her hands, accompanying the material, brings the reader back to those joyful moments for sports lovers when the national anthem was sounded in Tokyo and the long-awaited Olympic award was presented.

The Olympic theme of the magazine is continued by the review "According to the precepts of Coubertin", published on the pages, dedicated to the International Olympic Day. The material acquaints the reader with the history of the appearance of the holiday and the events held in this regard in our country.

The sports achievements of our athletes in the international arena are devoted to the analytical correspondence of Azadi Gurbanguly Myradova, a teacher at the Dovletmammet National Research Institute of International Relations, entitled “Diýarym-sport ýurdy” (Fatherland is a sports country).

Subsequent materials of the magazine, returning us to the celebrations that took place the day before - the day of the Akhal-Teke and the Turkmen alabay, the international day for organizing children, the days of the Turkmen carpet and the national poet Makhtumkuli, the international day of the bicycle, tell about the current features of their holding.

The popular science section of the journal opens with materials on topical environmental issues, in particular, the article "Daşky gurşaw we biz" (Ecology and we). The same topic, but in specific areas (economy, digitalization and culture), is touched upon in the articles of the teachers of the Turkmen Institute of Culture Syakhragul Dzhanmamedova and Oguldurda Deryagulyeva from the Turkmen Institute of Management and Economics.

The magazine has pleased with fascinating information, having published an unusual alphabetical selection, in which each of the letters of the alphabet reveals one of the most famous musical, literary and artistic works and their authors.

Despite the quarterly publication of the magazine, nevertheless, the editorial team tries to keep up with the efficiency of information submission. Thus, striving to please football fans, one of the pages of the magazine is dedicated to a "fresh" event - the return to an active coaching career of the famous Turkmen specialist Kurban Berdyev, who headed the Almaty football club "Kairat". It is possible that this editorial move will increase the interest of football fans in subsequent issues of the magazine.
