IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS ARE TO BE SIGNED DURING THE VISIT OF THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN TO UZBEKISTAN

Important bilateral documents are to be signed during the upcoming visit of the Government delegation headed by the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was announced by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a working meeting held via a video link.
During the meeting, Cabinet Deputy Chairman Esenmyrad Orazgeldiyev reported on preparations for the upcoming regular session of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation. It was highlighted that today the Turkmen-Uzbek partnership, which covers several areas, has advanced to a qualitatively new level. Agreements that are beneficial for both parties will be reached in a number of areas at the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.
Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan drew attention to the importance of proper preparation for a regular session of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation, which has a special role to play in building up a constructive dialogue with the brotherly country. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to discuss with his Uzbek colleague issues and agreements that will be included in the agenda, and to agree on the holding of the upcoming session of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation next week. Having pointed out that during the upcoming visit of the Government delegation headed by the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the relevant documents concerning the agreements reached will be signed, the leader of the nation ordered to ensure a high organizational level of the scheduled international events.
