A STUDENT FROM TURKMENISTAN RECEIVED A GRANT FROM THE VI INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM "EURASIA GLOBAL"

Results of the All-Russian competition of youth projects of Rosmolodezh and the grant competition of the Foundation for the Support of Public Diplomacy named after AM Gorchakov was summed up on Tuesday at the closing ceremony of the International Youth Forum "Eurasia Global" in Orenburg.

According to the organizers, a total of 78 applications were submitted at the forum, of which 34 projects were publicly presented to the experts of the competition.

“Following the results of public defense of projects, 15 forum participants received recommendation certificates for grants totaling 10 million rubles. for a total amount of 2 million 200 thousand rubles, "the press service of the Eurasia Global International Youth Forum told reporters.

Representatives of Iraq, India, Turkmenistan, Moldova, Mexico, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan received financial support among foreign participants. Their projects were recognized as the best out of more than 90 applications. The winners received four grants of 300 thousand rubles each and five grants of 200 thousand rubles each.

One of the winners of the competition was a student of the Orenburg State University Aziza Khemraeva from Turkmenistan. Our compatriot presented the project "International educational camp" New Young Way ". The amount won for the project is 200,000 rubles.

The Eurasia Global Forum was held for the sixth time in the Orenburg region from 2 to 8 September. 500 representatives of the regions of Russia and 77 countries became its participants in person, more than 1,500 young leaders of public opinion followed the events in Orenburg online. In total, representatives of 106 countries of the world took part in the forum.

The Forum is a part of the All-Russian Forum Campaign of Rosmolodezh and one of the seven forum sites, which are assigned the status of federal. The organizers of the forum are Rosmolodezh, the government of the Orenburg region, the Resource Youth Center.

During the closing ceremony, Elena Mondrus, Director of the Eurasia Global Forum, addressed the participants.

- Our forum has been held for 6 years already! We managed to create our own traditions. This year you came up with an idea to create a community of Eurasia Global Forum ambassadors. During the year, the guys will work on this issue. At the next "Eurasia" we will adopt this concept together with you. We invite you to become a part of Eurasia Global, ”said Elena Mondrus.

Two grant competitions were held at the forum: for foreign and domestic participants. Within the framework of the grant competition of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, 70 applications were submitted in the nominations "Volunteering", "Sports, Healthy Lifestyle, Tourism", "Creative Youth Initiatives", "Prevention of negative manifestations in the youth environment and interethnic interaction", "Student initiatives", “Patriotic Education”, “Youth Media”, “Development of Social Lifts”, “Strengthening Family Values”. Fifteen projects from 12 regions of Russia were recommended for grant support for a total amount of 10 million rubles.
