PRESIDENT OF IRAN CONGRATULATED PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN ON THE 26TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKMENISTAN'S NEUTRALITY
President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Turkmen people on the 26th anniversary of declaring the neutrality of Turkmenistan.
In his message addressed to the President of Turkmenistan, the Iranian leader noted that Iran was among the first countries to support the decision of Turkmenistan to adopt the policy of positive neutrality at various regional and international forums.
“It is pleasant that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan have developed constructive cooperation in various areas, including the elimination of the negative impacts of the global coronavirus pandemic,” the President of the neighboring state underlined.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed belief that due to balanced decisions Ashgabat and Tehran would continue developing partnership.
“In the days of celebrating neutrality, we are together with the people of Turkmenistan,” Seyed Ebrahim Raisi emphasized in his address.
