DRAFT REGULATION ON THE BASIC ORGANIZATION IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM WITHIN CIS IS APPROVED
The experts of the CIS member-states approved the Regulation on the basic organization of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of tourism.
The representatives of Turkmenistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and CIS Executive Committee took part in the CIS online meeting of the expert group.
The project is carried out in the framework of implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Tourism Cooperation of CIS members-states for 2021-2030 and is aimed at increase in the capacity of the CIS Tourism Council in improving the education, training, expert and analytical support of the tourism industry.
Foundation of the basic organization in the field of tourism will also allow to ensure effective cooperation between the Commonwealth countries in the field of training and retraining of personnel.
It is planned that «Silk Road» International University of Tourism (Samarkand) will be granted a status of basic organization in the field of tourism.
