THE EMBASSY OF TURKMENISTAN IN TBILISI ORGANIZE ONLINE MEDIA MEETING
Round table session dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan has been organized in video conference format by the Embassy of our country to Georgia on April 17, 2020.
representatives of Georgian TV channels TV 24 and ‘Objective” (Focus), Georgian Business Consulting Group publishing group, News Day Georgia Agency, Resonance, Multinational Georgia, Free Georgia newspapers and other media took part in the event.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmurad Muratov has focused attention of the participants of online meeting on importance of the status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and efficiency of foreign model of the country, which is based on peace-making potential, open door policy and initiative position in solution of current problems of global agenda.
Such current vectors of foreign policy of Turkmenistan as energy, transport, ecological, cultural and water diplomacy have also been highlighted. The attention of the participants has been focused on success of our country in achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, strengthening of international and regional security, constructive dialog with competent international organizations including the UN and its specialized structures.
The participants have been informed on preparation to International Conference “Policy of Neutrality and its Role in Provision of Global Peace, Security and Sustainable Development” in Ashgabat in December this year. In the end of the event, video dedicated to modern achievements of the country has been demonstrated.
