DIPLOMATIC MISSION OF TURKMENISTAN IN TASHKENT ORGANIZES VIDEO CONFERENCE WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF URGENCH UNIVERSITY

Video conference bridge connected the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tashkent with Urgench State University where representatives of younger generation of Turkmenistan citizens study.

Ambassador Extroridnary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Yazguly Mammedov, personnel of the embassy, Director of Urgench State University Bahrom Abdullayev, Deputy Direction of University for international cooperation G. Urozboyev, Deputy Director for Youth Affairs S. Davletov, teachers and students took part in online meeting.

Opening video conference session Ambassador Ya. Mammedov expressed gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Director of Urgench State University B. Abdullayev for the opportunity of stay and distant education of Turkmen students during quarantine related to the spread of COVID-19 virus infection in Uzbekistan.

The Head of diplomatic mission told to Turkmen students that President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held the meeting on February 26, 2020, which was dedicated to important aspects of the state youth policy and introduced programmes thesis given by the Head of the State.

Speaking of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the status of permanent neutrality by Turkmenistan, the Ambassador has focused attention of the participants of online meeting on foreign success of the country for quarter of the century, its contribution to provision of peace and sustainable development in the region as well as on importance of international initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov aimed at solution of current objectives of global development.

Preparation to High-level International conference “Policy of Neutrality and its Role in Provision of Global Peace, Security and Sustainable Development”, which is to be held in Ashgabat this December, has been highlighted.

The Ambassador has also noted that at present time, Turkmen – Uzbek relations have received a character of strategic partnership and are developed dynamically in all directions of cooperation owing to the efforts of the leaders of two countries.

Director Bahrom Abdullayev congratulated Turkmen people on remarkable date – the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality, having highlighted that Turkmen model of neutrality has become a phenomenon in international relations, embodiment of culture of peace, creative development and constructive multidimensional cooperation.

Speaking of the conditions made for Turkmen students, representatives of Uzbek side assured that the Ministry of High and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the university would make all possible for positive solution of the issues related to stay of citizens of our country in Uzbekistan under conditions of coronavirus pandemic.
