CEREMONY OF AWARDING STUDENTS WAS HELD AT THE EMBASSY OF TURKMENISTAN IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
On April 14, 2021, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan there held the ceremony of awarding students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan, who won the analytical articles competition.
The heads, faculty and students of the University as well as the local media representatives participated to this event.
In his speech, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Y.Mammedov informed the participants about event which are being planned in the country and abroad timed to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence, 25th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan and announcement of 2021 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust”. He also noted that during the years of independence the Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation reached the strategic level.
Within the framework of the event, the exhibition of the achievements of the country, the books of President of Turkmenistan, Turkmen carpets and national jewelry was organized. The participants could also get acquainted with the museum of the Embassy
